Female Muscle Curiosities: Videogames Part 1

Hello again Female Muscle Fans. In this time we are going to talk about another subject related with this passion: Female Muscle. Now we are going to cover an uncommon aspect for many admirers of these Muscle Goddesses, the videogames. Believe it or not, in this kind of entertainment our powerful warriors also have been required, maybe not as much as in the movies or comic books, but is something worth to appreciate for all fans.



The game we are going to talk about is Power Instinct, a title developed by Atlus in 1993, whose success in American Continent is not the same than in Japan, country in which it reached a bigger popularity among these players, even it became in a great saga with 6 chapters (not to mention some game updates). The most outstanding thing about this game is that it was (at least as far as is known) the first in which a muscular woman has appeared. Her name is Angela Belti (Anjera Berute in Japanese), and you will know everything about this powerful muscle warrior.

Story: Angela was born into a poor family, and for this reason she lived many privations. When she grew up, she developed a great fascination for bodybuilding, and she was hooked with the results. Angela has many occupations like animal trainer, motorcyclist in a gang, fighter and singer in a heavy metal band called Dirty Rouge. Her skills in melee combat did she won the admiration and respect of all her companions. She entered to the first tournament organized by Goketsuji Clan with the goal of winning money and a life full of luxuries. In this event, Angela met many combatants and she made a friendship and rivalry relationship with Annie Hamilton, as well as the admiration of White Buffalo. At the end, she was defeated by Oume, the leader of Goketsuji Clan and she felt a horrible humilliation. She couldn't believe that she was beaten by an old decrepit woman and for this reason, she decides to take part on the next championship in search of revenge. She improved dramatically, and she became in one of the best fighters. At the same time, she would meet a man who would be her future fianceé, the Lebanese prince Sahad Asran Ryuto. They were delighted with each other and a love relationship borns with them. After 2nd tournament, Angela knew that she needed to change some aspects of her behavior, all of this with the objective of please her Arab perfect match. And a man called Kokuin Kanji arranges a new tournament with all fighters and he offers to her a special prize if she was able to defeat the alleged World's Strongest Man, and that guy was Chuck. In Matrimelee events, she was absent because the reward for winners is the marriage with Princess Sissy for men and Prince for women, and she already had a man who is the love of her life. After that bout, the king and father of both pretentious siblings does a new competition in which the best would receive any kind of gifts. Angela returns to action in order to achieve her most longed dream: a life full of luxuries, with all and extravagant pets.







Details: Despite of her rough aspect, Angela is a woman who enjoys her femininity and is very romantic and passionate, for this reason she tends to fall in love quickly. She had a romance with a Japanese wrestler who is currently missing, and she was sad because she couldn't find him. And Angela has two close relatives that are her grandmother Elizabeth and her aunt Sandra. Her abilities are melee attacks, the whip use and the creation of electric barriers.

She's a great animal trainer, and her dexterity with whip is very useful in combat time.

Angela is one of the most complex characters to control, but in expert hands is a combo machine that will delete many challenger smiles.

Angela in her second tournament inside Power Instinct 2 and the sequel Legends. With a sleeker look, she is ready to kick a lot of butts.

Conclusions: Angela Belti was one of the muscular women pioneers inside videogames world, and her impact was shocking because she generated many comments, specially in Latin America, where they have suffered a lot of discrimination. Commonly, Angela was referred as a transvestite, and it is an outrageous situation because as we said in many times, the Iron Goddesses like her are beautiful and strong simultaneously and they do not stop being women just to have a different physical form and away of stereotype. Angela is one of the most attractive burly girls and she would be a brilliant champion if she had a participation in a Bodybuilding Tournament, specifically in Heavyweight division. A high performance athlete like her put on high the name of Italy with all the best honors. Angela Belti is and will be a proudly steel maiden.
